This last weekend was the 2023 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA. We have both video coverage and photo coverage of the event in this post!

A few years ago Jason Smith from Hot Rod Garage in Sand Springs, OK was telling me his idea for a killer car show, now in 2022 we've seen the show for the last three years and it's even better than his vision. So far I have made it to all three years of the Gathering At The Roc held at Wooleroc Museum outside of Bartlesville, OK and I don't plan on ever missing one!

Each year the weekend after Labor Day means only one thing for me, it's time to head to Dewey, OK for the Stray Kat Kustoms : Lead Ain't Dead show. Mickey and crew put on two of my favorite shows each year, the Stray Kat 500 which happens on the first full weekend each May and the Lead Ain't Dead show.

This year the KKOA Leadsled Spectacular was a bit odd compared to what most people expect of the show, it was only in the upper 70's or lower 80's for most of the weekend! What a fantastic weekend we had in Salina, KS for the show. Friends were in town from all over the country and it was great to see so many folks and so many cool cars.

For 9 out of the last 10 years some of the coolest customs in the world have gathered in Indianapolis, IN for the Custom Car Revival. I've been lucky enough to attend a few of them, and I decided last year that I was NOT going to miss the 2022 event!

First off... I screwed up. I posted the video from this event and completely neglected to get the photos up! So here's a post to fix that error.

For those that don't know the story, in 2020 at the Flaming Gorge Resort Independence Day car show, Mayor Woody told us of a great idea. What if we got a 3 day weekend in the winter, when there's snow on the ground and bring a bunch of hot rods out to have some fun?

I can't count the number of years that I've been attending the Starbird Rod & Custom Show in Tulsa, OK. I go back year after year to see all of the friends that I have in the Tulsa area and beyond that all come to this show.

There was a great turnout this year for the Hobo Happenings in Douglass, KS! Over 200 cars gathered on the last Saturday before Thanksgiving for a good time on a beautiful November day. See the video below for Royboy's Coverage.

Last weekend I picked up a buddy and we made a quick 700 mile round trip to Denton, TX for the 2021 Pistons & Paint Car Show. Enjoy the video below.

The 2nd annual Gathering At The Roc is in the books! Just as last year I had to work so I couldn't make it down for the Friday Reliability Run, so after work on Friday we rushed to Bartlesville, OK so we could be close for the fun on Saturday October 9th.

The 5th Annual Hot Rod Rock & Rumble filled the Pikes Peak International Raceway August 27-29th. This year I had to cruise the 450 miles out in the daily driver, but with my new house being pretty close to US 50 and the racetrack being about 20 miles off of US 50, I figured why not cruise the highway all the way out instead of spending the day on the boring interstate.

It had been far too long since we'd all been in Dewey, OK for the 20th Try at the Stray Kat 500. The Stray Kat Kustoms crew really put on a great show as always with tons of great cars, and most of my favorite people from the regions. Friends from my Lonely Knights club in Colorado were on hand, as well as a bunch of folks from TX, AR, KS, MO, OK and a couple other states.
